DIY Electrolysis v4.0

Introduction

I now sell individual, assembled units with the pads, pedals and stylus on my store. Check it out!

This project is a guide for building a galvanic electrolysis device for hair removal. It is based on scd31's original design (thank you for making it available!), but has been redesigned around the STM32 to make it significantly cheaper and easier to build. If you still want to build the previous v3.4 (RP2040 based) you can still view it here.

No soldering is required to assemble the board, but you will have to solder a wire to a connector for the stylus if you don't want to crimp it.

Note: DIY electrolysis carries risk of permanent scarring if done improperly. If something goes wrong, only you are responsible.

At the time of writing, the cost for one board in a batch of five is £15/$20. Try to leverage economies of scale if you can! Talk to your friends and others in your area to see if people want to group buy. Community does not exist without you reaching out to others and making it happen. It is more important than ever to support one another in queer communities, so use this as an opportunity to do so!
